FR800 Foundation Drilling Rig

The FR800 Foundation Drilling Rig is a crawler-type foundation drilling rig designed for foundation engineering, large-diameter drilling and complex stratum construction. The maximum drilling depth is 100-800m, the drilling diameter range is 200-600mm, and it is equipped with 40T lifting force and 17600N·m maximum rotary torque. According to different stratum conditions, hydraulic rotary drilling, DTH hammer drilling or mud drilling can be adopted.

This machine is suitable for loose layers and bedrock construction, and can meet the construction needs of pile foundation engineering, building foundations, bridge foundations, mining engineering and other large-diameter drilling projects. Multiple drill pipe length configurations of 3m, 6m and 9m facilitate flexible selection according to site space and construction depth.

FR800 Foundation Drilling Rig Main Features

  • Large-diameter drilling: Drilling diameter 200-600mm, suitable for various foundation engineering and large-diameter hole-forming projects.
  • Wide drilling depth range: Maximum drilling depth 100-800m, construction can be carried out according to geological conditions and drilling tool configuration.
  • 40T lifting force: Greater lifting capacity is beneficial for deep-hole drilling, drill tool pulling and complex working condition construction.
  • High-torque power head: Maximum rotary torque 17600N·m, suitable for drilling in loose layers and bedrock.
  • 9.6m power head stroke: The long-stroke design helps improve drill pipe connection efficiency and reduce auxiliary operation time.
  • Multiple drilling methods: Supports hydraulic rotary, DTH hammer and mud drilling, and construction techniques can be selected for different strata.
  • Crawler travel: The equipment has a travel speed of 2.5km/h, suitable for site transfer and complex construction environments.

Application Scenarios

The FR800 foundation drilling rig can be used in the following engineering scenarios:

  • Building foundation and pile foundation drilling construction
  • Drilling for bridges, roads and large foundation projects
  • Hole forming in loose overburden and bedrock strata
  • Engineering drilling projects requiring 200-600mm hole diameter
  • Construction sites requiring DTH hammers for hard rock drilling
  • Stratum drilling projects using mud circulation technology
  • Mining, geological and other engineering deep-hole drilling

Drilling Method Description

Hydraulic Rotary Drilling

Suitable for various conventional strata. The power head outputs torque to drive the drilling tool to rotate, and different drill bits and drill pipe combinations can be selected according to stratum conditions.

DTH Hammer Drilling

In bedrock, hard rock and other strata, a DTH hammer can be configured for percussion-rotary drilling to improve rock-breaking capacity in hard rock strata. During actual construction, matching air compressors and DTH drilling tools need to be selected according to hole diameter, depth and stratum.

Mud Drilling

In loose layers, hole-collapse-prone strata or projects requiring mud wall protection, mud drilling can be adopted. By reasonably configuring the mud pump, drilling tools and circulation system, hole wall stability and cuttings removal effect are improved.

Selection Recommendations

Before choosing the FR800 foundation drilling rig, it is recommended to confirm the target hole depth, opening diameter, final hole diameter, stratum structure, drilling method and on-site construction conditions of the construction project. For hard rock projects, the DTH hammer specifications and air compressor parameters also need to be confirmed; for mud drilling projects, a suitable mud pump and circulation system need to be selected according to hole depth and hole diameter.

Usage Precautions

  • Actual drilling depth and construction efficiency will be affected by stratum hardness, hole diameter, drilling tool configuration and construction technique.
  • The 200-600mm drilling range needs to be matched according to the specific drilling method, drill pipe and drilling tool combination.
  • During hard rock construction, the DTH hammer, drill bit and air compressor should be reasonably configured.
  • When constructing in loose layers or hole-collapse-prone strata, casing or mud wall protection should be adopted according to site conditions.
  • Before the equipment enters the site, the bearing capacity of the construction site, transportation conditions and equipment deployment space should be confirmed.
  • The dimensions "7600-5900 × 2300 × 2780mm" are organized according to the original parameter data, and the final dimensions are subject to formal technical confirmation documents.
